Alterna Savings Crackup (formerly Cracking-up the Capital Comedy Festival) - a Winterlude partner since 2012 - will take over Ottawa and TD Place, Lansdowne Park from February 7th – 18th with its unique programming and hilarious line-up! In celebration of Canada’s 150th, Crackup offers more shows and laughs and will attempt to build more snowmen to raise MORE money for mental health organizations in Ottawa. Also, take advantage of Crackup’s new festival package and give laughter this holiday season!
Crackup loves breaking records and, for a third year in a row, will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most snowmen built in one-hour at the Crackup Snowmania Challenge – a great event for families!
Don’t miss a laugh this year with Crackup’s NEW Festival Weekend Package. With this package you gain access to all of Crackup’s TD Place Arena events including a ticket for Ron James In Concert (Friday, February 17) and Comedy Night in Canada (Saturday, February 18) featuring Jonny Harris, Debra DiGiovanni, Mark Forward, Sharron Matthews, Derek Seguin and Jeremy Hotz. Tickets for TD Place Arena Alterna Savings Crackup events go on sale Thursday, November 10 at 10 a.m. Festival Weekend Packages start at $85.50. Individual Friday and Saturday tickets start at $49.50 each. Prices include tax and service charges. Save 15% with the purchase of the Festival Weekend Package.

The winners of the Suburban Comedy Competitions and the Summer Prove You’re a Comic Competition series will make up our Crackup February Comedy Competition Finals! The winner of the February Comedy Competition Finals, decided by a panel of local celebrity judges, will have the career changing opportunity to perform in front of an audience of 3,000 alongside Canadian comedy stars at our festival finale, Comedy Night in Canada!
