Lisa Merchant has been improvising/acting/producing for 30 years. She is a multiple nominee and winner of 3 Canadian Comedy Awards for Best Female Improvisor and ensemble for Monkey Toast. Lisa was one of the cast of the Gemini nominated Joe Blow Show. She created and produced Toronto’s longest running comedy festival, March of Dames from 1994-2003.  Some television credits include:  American Gods, Degrassi XV, Murdoch Mysteries, Train 48, Listen Missy, Go Girl!, to name a few. She performs monthly in Monkey Toast, the live improvised talk show, now in its 14th year, Mixed Company, Ted & Lisa in Date Me. She is a 20+ year Senior Faculty member at The Second City Training Centre and corporate facilitator with Bad Dog Theatre, The Second City Works division and privately. Additionally she is extremely proud to have delivered improvisation workshops to Canada’s Olympic Team hopefuls for the London 2012 Summer Games as well as Sochi 2014 Winter Games.
